# The part editor

Open a site and use the part editor.

- **Hero, menus, dock.** Choose another variant.
- **Palette and type.** Pick from the library or your own palettes.
- **Sections.** Each has arrows to try its other variants, and can be added, moved or removed.
- **Scoped CSS.** For one component, as an escape hatch.

## Preview

The preview updates at once, and the full-page preview opens as its own link that you can rotate. See [preview and comments](/docs/preview-and-comments/).

## Presets

Save the design as a preset and apply it to another site.
